W7 Glitter Eyeliner

It really is very easy to use, you unscrew the lid, apply gently to where you want it, usually lining the eyelid in the traditional way you'd use a liquid eyeliner and sometimes on the lower lash line or in the corners. I don't have the steadiest hands on the planet and when I try to do one smooth line it inevitably ends up reaching my eyebrow so I make small gentle strokes to get the lines as straight and neat as possible.

It doesn't dry too fast (probably around 4-5 mins) so I leave the application of this until last. It's a small clear plastic bottle which clearly shows off the colours of each eyeliner, and comes with a thin black lid that houses the brush applicator. The brush isn't too thick and just right for building up the thickness of the line you want.

I think this would be a great product for a night out or even in the day if worn with a neutral eye shadow, you could even use it as an eye shadow if you apply a bit to the lids and spread with your fingers.
Have you ever tried any W7 products? Let me know in the comments below!

Vichy Idealia Pro

I was keen to try this cream. I am using it like you would use a primer, before applying my normal moisturiser or tinted foundation. It sinks in easily and is not greasy. My red skin seems calmed after I apply this cream.

It comes as a pumper which dispenses a reasonable amount of product, allowing you can to spread evenly as the cream is very smooth and light. I use this every morning under my moisturiser and after 2 weeks, I am quite impressed. My skin definitely looks luminous and even. It's great to use under makeup and foundations, the only thing I found was that it doesn’t have a SPF to protect your skin in the summer but overall I really like it.

Most spot correctors require a day and night application, so it's great that Vichy recommends to only use the Idealia Pro every morning on thoroughly cleansed skin; not only can it be a pain to do more often but it means that it will last longer for me too! I love the smell, my skin feels immediately softer and smoother & you don't need to use too much to feel this effect. I do think my skin looks a lot healthier since using this & even helps make-up application look better!

Have you ever used this product? What do you think of it? let me know below!

How to make your concealer last all day!

Hello Lovelies,

A short but very sweet post today, I am going to be telling you how to keep your concealer looking fantastic all day.

Before applying concealer you need to prime your skin, I am currently using Smashbox under eye primer, which is perfect at the job, you want to look for smoothing and brightening primers.
The best way I find to apply my concealer is with a small brush, especially to blemishes, as you don't want to spread bacteria with your fingers back into the product.

Finally use a setting powder on to of the concealer for maximum staying power, I use MUA pressed powder. You want to look for a powder that is not shimmery, and I find it helps not to go completely matte as this can leave you looking a little flat.

I hope you enjoyed this little snippet of advice, what other tips do you find useful, let me know below!

Enummi Skincare review

I was recently sent some samples from the Enummi (Its Immune which I thought was clever!)  skin care range to try out.  The products I was sent included a gentle facial cleanser, refreshing toner, life C energizing serum, protective day moisturiser with broad spectrum SPF 15, night recovery cream and a restoring eye cream, all containing different properties aimed at improving your complexion!

It is a lot of steps compared to my normal routine but it does work, the only downside is that it takes a little longer than normal but that’s a small price to pay for the way it has helped me.

My favourite product out of the whole lot has to be the protective day moisturiser because I love the way it sinks into the skin without making it feel greasy, and it's got the added bonus of SPF 15 so you know that your face is being protected all day long!

All of these products smell really lovely as well which adds to the luxurious feel of the brand and made me even more excited to keep using the samples, If you get the opportunity I would really recommend trying these out for yourself as it isn't often that I can actually say I'm pleased with the results after using new skin care products!

The Blogger Interview Tag with Claire!

How old are you?

I am currently 18 (and a half- my birthday is in march)

How and Why did you start your blog?

I started it on a bit of a whim one night after following bloggers like Rebecca from d is for dangerous and Olivia from what Olivia did for a few months. I knew it was something I wanted to get involved in but wasn't sure I had enough material but when I decided to go for it I found I had loads to say. I didn't even know what blogger was… I thought the site was probably called blogspot (you can see why).

What's your favourite thing about blogging?

I like having an online diary that I can look back on and the fact that I have followers now is just a bonus. I have also talked to some really great people and hopefully will meet some local bloggers soon.

What is your favourite post to write?

I like doing outfit of the day posts. Thats why I started in the first place. I have also found it's a great place to share my passion for baking. That is a lot of fun showing people what I've made and the feedback I get is so lovely.

How long have you been blogging for?

I started in January 2013 so thats only been 9 months. I still feel like a new blogger because there is loads of people out there with way more experience.

If you could describe your style in one word, what would it be?

Girly... I like dresses and floral patterns. I wear heels when ever I can- I am trying to be more varied in what I wear though.

Where or who do you look to for style inspiration?

I'm a big magazine reader- I love company but I also pick up shops magazines and leaflets where I can. I would say they are as much of an inspiration as other bloggers are. Love seeing things and thinking 'ooh I would never of thought of wearing those together' I love finding new ways to wear the same thing.

What are your must have products?

I'm a big fan of tea tree for my skin- I use tea tree facial wipes (bought from home bargains and lidl) and the body shops tea tree skin clearing location on a daily basis. I also love anything by soap and glory and use their moisturisers all the time.

What do you enjoy most about blogging?

As cliched as it sounds I love the community. Post a question on twitter and you'll get an answer or someone to talk to. I've not encountered negativity yet and I've been lucky to always get positive feedback. Blogging has helped me to develop my style and ways to use my wardrobe more effectively.

Finally, do you have any advice or helpful tips you could give to new bloggers just starting out?
Get involved in blogger chats on twitter as soon as you can and learn from other bloggers. Don't be scared to talk to someone because most bloggers are lovely. Learn from other peoples advice and remember that views and followers don't happen over night. For months my posts were only getting about 5 views (I thought that was huge) but now I really appreciate how far I've come. Lastly DON'T be the person that asks to be followed (you won't get very far)

2014 Blogger Challenge - High end Wish list!

Here are some high end products I really want to get my hands on!

1.       YSL Touché Éclat
The product description says its for all skin types which is good as I have dry skin and find it hard to get a concealer that doesn't sink into my fine lines under my eyes. I always get a shade lighter in concealer to help brighten my under eye so this pen brush applicator would make it easier to glide on under my eyes.

2.      Mac Lipstick- Morange
This has been top of my wish list for some time now! It is such a lovely colour and is perfect for the summer! I might have to make a cheeky purchase!

3.      Benefit boi ing concealer
I have hear so many good things about this concealer and I have had my eye on it for ages!

4.      Nars Laguna bronzer
I have seen so many people rave about this product in videos and blog posts and it looks gorgeous it gives a nice glow to your face.
What is in your high end wish list? Let me know below!

W7 Cosmic Nail Glitter

The Cosmic Nail Dust is basically a pot of glitter that you sprinkle onto freshly-painted nails. I found it easier to do one nail at a time - paint, sprinkle, tap off the excess. It is a lovely silver glitter mix which comes in a handy squeezy nozzle tube that you pour over your nails after applying a coat of polish, I think this is a lovely girly princess look.

The effect is absolutely stunning, I can't stop wiggling my fingers and just staring at the beautiful colours and sparkles! It looks great in natural and artificial lighting!

I also found that because the glitter sticks to the wet polish, the drying time is really quick. I found that my nails were dry within less then five minutes, so this w

ould be a great look to do in a rush before a night out or a party. I used a top coat but didn't really notice a difference - the texture is still very coarse which personally I like the texture but to others can be a bit annoying, I thought that when I came to removing it the glitter would be a bit stubborn but how wrong was I! It came of really easy, no harder than taking normally nail varnish off.

I also found that if I sprinkled the glitter onto my nails over a piece of folded paper I could just funnel the glitter right back into the pot, so one little pot will definitely last me a while, winner!

Blogging Tips Disabling Captcha

If you have ever commented on a blog you may sometimes notice that you have to enter two words, or a word and a number to publish your comment, and if you are commenting on a few blogs it may get annoying.
If you have a Blogger Blog, when you start your blog it automatically enables the word verification feature. If you are worried about spam on your blog you can always delete comments or switch it to a setting where a comment will not be displayed until you have moderated it.

I for one am put off commenting because the words aren’t always easy and it can take a good couple of tries before it works! So if your wondering how to disable Captcha on you Blogger Blog then here is a little guide.. it's easy I promise!

Go to Settings > Posts and comments > Show word Verification > No!

And there we go I told you it was easy!

Luxstyle quickmax Eyelash growth enhancer!

I apply mascara on a daily basis so I am always looking for a serum to make my lashes look longer and fuller so I couldn’t wait to the Luxstyle Quickmax eyelash growth enhancher!

I'm always cautious with products that go near your eyes as they are really sensitive and some products can cause irritations, I was really pleased with this product though as I didn’t experience any irritations around my eye or any sore parts of my skin.

I applied the serum to both my top eyelashes and bottom, the serum is a clear liquid feel but isn’t runny so its easy to apply. The brush is also small which helps with apply and precision whilst applying the serum.

You put the serum on then wait for two minutes before washing away. I didn’t see an awful lot of difference with the length of my lashes but I did notice a big improvement in the thickness of my lashes, they appeared thicker with and without mascara on so I was pleased with it! The serum comes in a small bottle and you get 5ml of the serum, this serum is available to buy for £24.95 Here

2014 Blogger Challenge! Book Review!

From the start this story gripped me, I just couldn't put it down, every second I had I was reading, eager to see what happened next.

This really is what you miss from fairytales as a child, of course what happens to Sandy Shortt (who, by the way is very very tall) will never ever happen to any one of us in real life but hey! that's what fairytales are for! I was very well entertained and my love for this book caused me to go out and buy all the other Cecelia Ahern books too, The way the story is written is fantastic it has the perfect amount of twists and entertaining corners and yes, it makes me think of "a place called here" everytime I lose stuff ... especially socks!

Her parents, concerned for her wellbeing, persuade her to see a psychiatrist about her obsession with finding things, a man named Gregory who soon becomes a romantic interest. Her career is shaped by this obsession; she starts off working for the Garda, the Irish Police force, before setting up her own detective agency that specialises in finding missing people. One day, a man named Jack Ruttle employs Sandy to search for his missing brother, Donal, but on her search for him Sandy disappears too. Jack begins to search for her, discovering more than he bargained for, but it is nothing compared to what Sandy finds, the place where all things lost are found, a place called here.

I would definatly recommend reading this or any of the books written by Cecelia Ahern, Have you read any of her books before?

The Blogger Interview Tag with April

Hi! How are you? Welcome to Touch Of Belle! Let's talk a little bit about your blog! Could you tell us a bit about yourself?

Hellooo, So my names April and I run and which is more of a graphic portfolio.  For this little blog tag, I’ll talk about Beautiface. I set it up as a space to write about my daily battles with makeup, but it’s turned more into a lifestyle blog, with recipes and adventures.

How old are you?

How and Why did you start your blog?
I started as a little way to escape the hectic world, and write about my makeup buys, tries and fails. And there are a lot of fails. Initially I set up a free wordpress as I didn’t want to invest too much in it if I didn’t have time to keep it updated. Since then it has been thriving and I have bought my URL and am looking to switch to blogger as I can be more creative with design there.

What's your favourite thing about blogging?
At first, I liked blogging to have a little fun, I am a designer by trade so I really enjoyed the initial set up on the blog, and designing it. I think since starting I really enjoy meeting other bloggers, mainly on twitter, but it’s great that I have a whiole community of friendly open people

What is your favourite post to write?
I find reviews easiest to write, and love taking pictures for them. I don’t think I can choose a favourite post…I like variety so I like writing all different posts to vary topics.

How long have you been blogging for?
So collectively on both blogs I have been blogging for 2-3 years, but my little beauty blog has been going since January, so just under a year old.

If you could describe your style in one word, what would it be?
Fun. I always aim to have fun when writing posts and hope this comes across to people who read it

Where or who do you look to for style inspiration?
Style inspiration comes from everything and everyone. I can see someone on the bus with really lovely looking hair, then I’ll google similar styles, or I’ll see a friend who is wearing something in a really quirky way and think about what I can do with a similar item.

What are your must have products?
I’m going to go with beauty for this! So as winter approaches I am loving my wake me up foundation, it stays on lovely and keeps me from looking all drab and washed out. I use my Clinique moisture surge masque shameless plugging of the blog here. It is a great product if your skin tends to become dry in the winter like mine, and finally my gliss hair repair conditioning spray, as it keeps my hair from being too static.

Finally, do you have any advice or helpful tips you could give to new bloggers just starting out?
I would say get into the community as soon as you can, join chats, groups and just start talking to people on twitter. If you need help you will be surprised at how friendly the community can be. I was designing blog headers and buttons for free for a bit to help out bloggers who lacked the skills and software.
I would also say, get into a routine as soon as you can. It has taken me a year of trying to finally get myself a blog notebook to keep post ideas, and lists of things I need to do, like this lovely Q&A which I probably would have forgotten about if I hadn’t.

Nuxe Serum Creme Friaches review

This is a brilliant cream with superb moisturizing properties. I use this only at night because it is very moisturizing and can be a bit heavy. The texture is like a lovely whipped mousse, it may look and feel very thick when you first pump it out, but as you blend it just emulsifies and melts into the skin.

It is scented, as with all of Nuxe's products, but it is very subtle and has a nice, soothing herbal scent.

This does not cause break me out and makes my skin so radiant in the morning. I wake up with my skin feeling plumped,  hydrated and soft. It is a must for the wintertime or when you have particularly dry skin.

It is light enough that it does not cause me to breakout but feels like a luxurious semi thick lotion/cream. When Applied it does not look oily or greasy on the face at all.

Have you ever tried any Nuxe products before? What do you think of them, let me know in the comments below!

Blogging Tips Twitter Chats

Twitter chats take place almost every night during the week and involve bloggers getting together via Twitter to talk about a wide variety of topics. Some of these chats are themed  topics and the host will usually let everyone know at some point during the day what the topic is going to be that evening.
Twitter chats are also a great way l for finding new blogs to follow. At the end of the hour discussion people who have taken part in the discussion tend to share their link and ask to be sent links in order to find new blogs to follow. It’s a fab way to find new blogs to follow and it’s great for advertising your blog.
I’m quite forgetful and didn’t realise I was only participating in one Twitter chat a week when I could have easily done more! So  I decided to write down all the chats I could think of (some don’t apply to me as I'm not a parent – yet and wont be for a while haha ) in order to share them with other bloggers.
