Chanel Rouge Coco Teheran:

I love lipsticks, both high end and drugstore but today I'm going to be reviewing my high end Chanel lipstick in 56 Teheran* This lipstick isn't particularly drying but at the same time it doesn't seem to provide any moisture to my lips so I would always have a lip balm to hand in the winter months as it might dry your lips out more in the cold. I cannot say enough how amazing this colour is, its a mixture of pink and coral and perfect for this time of year!

The staying power is the best I have tried it easily lasts all day which is always a bonus for me!  As this is one of the Rouge Coco lipsticks it's pretty pigmented and I get full coverage in 1 or 2 swipes.  It's lightly perfumed with a sweet rosy scent but doesn't linger once applied.

This is one of my favourite high end lipsticks and it is such a gorgeous colour! This lipstick is available online from Chemist Direct.

Have you tried anything from Chanel before? Let me know in the comments!

Face Mask Friday: ClaySpray

As part of my Face mask Friday series I got the chance to review the ClaySpray Red Clay and Cacao* face mask, I was so excited as this is a bit different to normal face masks.  The smell of this is delicious, it smells so chocolatey! When you first apply it the texture is just like melted chocolate and then it dries into a clay like texture (You would have never have guessed from the name ;)

I have quite combination to oily skin so this mask is great for me, it is recommended for people with normal to combination skin. I love the packaging of this, it has a pump which is unusual for most clay masks but it was really easy to use! The mask also comes with a natural spring water which you use before you apply the mask and after to help take it off, I really like this idea but I don't really know If it makes much difference.

The masks dries quickly so after about 5 to 10 minutes the mask was completely dry and ready to take off! I didn't notice a huge difference straight away but the morning after I found my pores were tighter and my skin appeared a lot clearer and brighter than normal.

I really enjoyed using this mask, you can buy the masks online Here. Have you tried anything from ClaySpray before? Let me know in the comments!

Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush:

This Real techniques retractable Kabuki brush* Is perfect for traveling, they have a sturdy packaging and come with a plastic top to product the bristles. The brush is incredibly dense and so soft at the same time. A good point for me is that it is a multi – use brush you can use it for bronzers, powders and blushes, so If like me and you are going on holiday soon this is great as it substitutes other brushes so you don't need to take as many!

This brush has a tapered bristles making it great for precision application of bronzers as you can create a contour look using this brush! The only product I don't think it would work for is Liquid foundation but mineral foundations would work great!

The kabuki brush is part of the Flawless base range and retails for £12.99, I love real techniques brushes and for only £12.99 you really are getting a brush that lasts a long time!

Let me know what are your favourite real techniques brushes below!

Denman Tangle Smoother

I was recently send the Denman tangle smoother* to try out, my hair is so long and thick so I couldn't wait to try this out! I love the colour of this brush It is so bright and stands out from all my normal brushes. This brush has metal pins instead of normal plastic ones I really enjoyed this and found it a great way to massage the scalp too!

This brush is perfect for smoothing, de-tangling and styling your hair, I love the fact it has a handle unlike the Tangle tamer which is a pain to use if your hair is REALLY tangled as it just keeps flying out my hand! The handle just makes it so much easier to use!

Overall, I would definitely recommend this Tangle Smoother if you're looking for an excellent quality brush which will last. The pins are super smooth and great for pulling out all those tangles!

What do you use to detangle your hair? Have you used the Denman tangle smoother?

Face Mask Friday - Montagne Jeunesse Hot spring sauna!

We all love a little pamper from time to time I have recently been using the Montagne Jeunesse Hot Spring Sauna Mask, it is self heating and actually feels quite hot when you first apply it. The texture is very grainy, which makes it perfect for exfoliating your skin! The face mask is quite thick and has tiny beads for exfoliating your skin, it is quite harsh so I wouldn't recommend it if you have very sensitive skin, I also wouldn't use this as often as some of the other Montagne Jeunesse range as it does feel quite harsh on your skin.

I LOVE the smell of this face mask, it is a hint of ginger and its not to overpowering, I also like the fact that this mask heats up, I have never tried a self heating mask before but I really liked it!

After 15 minutes I washed it off and my skin looked very bright and had a healthy glow, this mask is great once a month I would say just for a deep clean and exfoliation.

The mask costs £1 for a 15g sachet which is great for anyone looking for a purse friendly face mask! What are your favourite face masks let me know below!

My Travel Makeup Bag!

One of the things that I think of most when packing to go on holiday is what makeup I am going to need! When I'm travelling I have very limited space, so I can only take the things I will need! I am guilty of over packing and never using half the things I take so this year I have tried to limit what I take!
First off I pack my brushes and other tools I need in a separate bag, I normally put them in a mesh type bag just so they don't get damaged, this one is from the body shop.

The brushes  I decided to take were:

-          Real techniques expert face brush
-          Real techniques buffing brush
-          Nanshy foundation brushes set, my favourite is the round buffer brush
-          UBU Smokey eye set
-          Eyelash curler
-          Real Techniques Powder brush

For my makeup I try to pack a few different things, I am going on a 2 week cruise so will need day makeup and makeup for night time. I tend to use the same products for day/night so I only needed to pack a few extra items!
For my base makeup L to R:

-          Rimmel stay matte powder
-          Beauty UK Primer
-          2true concealer
-          Rimmel Match perfection
-          No7 Highlighter
-          L'Oreal true match foundation

For eyes – L to R:

-          Maybelline the Falsies
-          MUA undress me too palette
-          MUA Matte
-          Maybelline Master drama kohl liner
-          Mini me eyeliner
-          HD brows

For Lips – L to R:

-          Revlon lip butter in tutti Frutti
-          No7 BB lips in Blink Pink
-          MUA Lip balm
-          No7 Lipstick in Waterlilly
-          Revlon lip butter in Sorbet

Skincare is really important for me when I go on holiday, as with the different temperatures etc. my skin can sometimes be effected, I know I will never do a full skincare routine, as much as I would like to say I do, but I would much rather spend time enjoying myself!

For 2 weeks I have taken:

-          Witch blemish stick
-          Temple spa shower in a bottle (This is great for on the go!)
-          B exfoliating cleanser
-          B Micellar water
-          Body shop white musk

So that’s what is in my travel makeup bag! Hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what your travel beauty products are below!

Would you rather - Beauty edition!

1) Would You Rather... Lose all of your mascara, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I would lose all my palettes and eyeshadows I don't really wear much eyeshadow unless I'm going out for a special occasion!

2) Would You Rather... Chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
This is a tough one! I would look awful with no hair so I would have to say never cut it again because my hair doesn't grow that fast!

3) Would You Rather... Have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
I would have to say Pink! I do love a coral cheek but I have been loving a pink cheek recently!
4) Would You Rather... Have £1000 to spend all on clothes or all on make up?
This is such a tough one! I love buying new clothes but think of how much makeup you could get and it would last such a long time! So I would say makeup!
5) Would You Rather... Apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
I would say eyeliner as lipstick, you can get some nude eyeliners so I would rock the nude lip haha!

6) Would You Rather...Only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Ohh I would have to say Mac!
7) Would You Rather... Only use one eyeshadow or one lip colour for rest of your life?
One eyeshadow definitely! I love my lip collection!

8) Would You Rather... Wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Easily summer clothes in winter! You can layer up then ;)
9) Would You Rather... Have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
It would be bright all the way! I love a bright nail!

10) Would You Rather... Give up your favourite lip product or favourite eye product?
I'm a sucker for mascara so I would give up my favourite lip product!

11) Would You Rather... Only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Messy bun! I'm always wearing my hair in a messy bun!
12) Would You Rather... Never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
If it was just lipgloss and I could use lipsticks I would never use lipgloss, I love having painted nails!
13) Would You Rather... Shave eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in each day?
I love the way eyebrows frame the face so I would say sharpie and us it very lightly!
14) Would You Rather... Live without make up or nail polish?
I would rather live without nail polish! I love my makeup too much haha!

Face Mask Friday - Crystal clear 10 minute glow!

There is something so satisfying about peel off face masks, peeling off the face mask to reveal a brighter and fresher looking you! I think it started at primary school when I used to coat my hands in PVA glue, wait for it to dry and them peel it off (Please tell me I'm not the only one who used to do this?!)

This mask is so easy to use, it comes in a tube and you simple squeeze out the amount you want and apply to your face. The mask is clear and has a thick gel like consistency, the mask dries quickly so you only have to wait 10 minutes – As the name suggests and then peel off, it was quite easy to peel off compared to some face masks I have tried, I did have a bit of residue left over so I just washed my face and I really could tell a difference my skin appeared and felt a lot more healthy.

This face mask isn't cheap its £24.99 for a tube of 100ml but you don't need much product each time so I can see this tube lasting me a while.
Have you tried anything from Crystal clear before? Let me know in the comments!

Witch Blemish Stick:

I was so excited to try this product out as I have heard some great things about it. I have combination to oily skin and have a few breakouts now and again. I haven't used the witch skincare brand before but I love trying products with natural ingredients.

The blemish stick is a blue plastic tube with a screw lid, inside is a blue gel which you push up from the bottom and apply to the areas you need to. The packaging isn't very pretty but I don’t mind as this product really works for me.

When you apply the gel it feels cool and sinks in quickly so you can apply makeup etc. over the top. If you have broken skin it does sting a little but not very much so I just make sure to avoid any open skin or blemishes.

I normally apply at night so my skin is clean and I find it works better than if I have makeup on top, I also apply it in the morning after I have cleansed my skin. I love this product and for the price you really can't beat it, the cost is £2.89 and you get a good amount of product.
I think it would suit anyone with oily or combination skin or for someone who gets occasional breakouts!

Lip Brilliance review!

There is nothing worse than dry, flaky lips and with the ever changing English whether its important to keep your lips looking lovely! I'm a sucker for tinted lip balms, what's better than having a lip balm that keeps your lips hydrated and adding a tint of colour at the same time?

The Blistex lip brilliance has a lovely pink shimmer to it, I have it in the shade blushing, it’s a light pink tint and really keeps my lips smooth.

The smell has a slight strawberry scent but nothing too noticeable, the cost is £2.61 and is available in boots, for the price I thinks it's a great product and very affordable!

Have you tried the Lip Brilliance before? Let me know below!
