Q&A

I asked for you to send me some questions for a Q&A, thank you to everyone who send me some questions, make sure you check out everyone's links! Here we go:

What is your beauty must have? I would say a mascara, I think it really brings a makeup look together! Other than that I would say a good foundation as it evens out your skin tone!

If you won the lottery what would you buy? I would go on a cruise to some new places with my family, save around half of the money for the future and then spend some on new clothes and beauty products!

What foundation do you normally use? I normally use Rimmel match perfection in the shade ivory, but I really want to try out the Rimmel stay matte foundation, I have heard so many good things about it!

How long would you say to spend taking photo's and writing for a blog? ( Question from http://thecuttlebug.blogspot.co.uk/) For me this really depends on what the post is about, I always take my images in one go (I plan my posts ahead and then take the images at the same time) this saves a lot of time, but I would say I spent around 20 minutes setting everything up and getting all the products ready. For the writing It can take me anywhere between 30minutes to 4 hours.

What do you love most about blogging? I love reading all the lovely comments, tweets and mentions, It really is so lovely to hear that people like what I write about and that I have helped them in some way!

If you could have personally witnessed any event what would it be and why? (question fromhttp://rawramazzable.blogspot.co.uk/ ) this was such a hard question, I literally spent ages thinking about it! it would probably be either Martin Luther Kings "I have a dream" speech because to me it was one of the most important speeches, the end of WWII to see all the soldiers come back or to see one of Shakespeare's plays!

So those were all the questions! If you have any others you want me to answer leave them below and I will do another post!

Girl Online Book Review

Girl online is the debut novel by Zoella (Aka Zoe Sugg) If you don't know who she is then have you been living under a rock?! It has become a best seller and broken world records. Zoe has had a lot of bad press about this lately and I don't want to go into it, I really don't care if its ghost written or not, I am just going to be giving you my honest opinion on the book!

I honestly love this book, I was a bit skeptical at first, but I really enjoyed the story and characters. I also love the design on the front cover. I started reading this on Saturday and by Monday I had finished it all! I was really hooked by the story line and couldn't put the book down!

The way the book is wrote is not difficult to read or understand and is a nice easy read, which sometimes can be a good thing. I was really surprised at how much I was hooked to the book, normally I like to read a book that requires you to think a bit more.
Whilst I was reading this book I found a lot of references made to Zoe, how Penny (the main character lives in Brighton, the topic of anxiety, blogging and how the internet and media can make things out to be worse than they are.) I loved the fact Zoe included anxiety, personally I don't suffer from panic attacks but I do get anxious in certain situations and I loved the way she puts the message across that your not alone and ways "Penny" copes with it, it also helped me to understand how people in that situation might feel.

I don't want to give too much away about what happens but here is a little bit about what happens. Penny is a girl from Brighton who goes to New York with her parents and Best friend Elliot, where she falls in love with a boy called Noah. Penny has the blog "Girl online" and documents everything on the blog!

I'm 18 and really enjoyed it, if your looking for something really heavy, then this probably isn't the book for you but if your looking for something light then I would give it ago!

Have you read girl online yet? What did you think of it?

Living Nature Clay mask

The mask* smells like lemon and is really refreshing to use, normally I find with a clay mask they don't smell too good but this one actually smells quite nice! The mask goes on really well, the only downside I have is that the sachet it comes in, you have to wriggle the product out the packet before you can use it, I suppose this is also good as it means each face masks are preserved and your not wasting any product as the sachets give you the perfect amount. I kept my mask on for around 10 minutes and by then it was completely dry.

The mask is suitable for any skin type however it is probably especially beneficial to those with spot prone skin, I do tend to get a few spots and go through periods of having acne prone skin, using a mask once a week would really helps to reduce these and get rid of any impurities!

My skin felt really soft once I had taken it off, and I did notice a difference in how clear my skin was, It wasn't a massive difference but if you used it regular then you would get better results.

Have you tried Living nature masks before? Let me know in the comments!

Benefit Lemon Aid

I love the name of this product* and I love the actually product too – the reason? It does exactly what it says. It is a yellow based cream to help cover up redness of your eyelids. Normally we would be trying to cover up our under eyes but this helps with covering up eyelids instead!

It comes in a small yellow square box and when you take it out the box it's a small compact with a mirror which is handy if you need to use it on the go or for travelling. I have quite a light skin tone and find that this is okay on my tone, but I do think if you have darker skin it would also look good too. I found that it didn't crease and by the end of the day I could still see that it was covering any redness, but I did fade throughout the day.

After doing my face makeup I notice that sometimes my eyelids look a little veiny and red, but a little dab of this makes  my eyes a lot brighter and appear more awake, but it also covers those pesky veins. I used my finger to dab this on, but I think it would be tricky to use a brush to apply this product. Lemon aid has a thick creamy texture to it and I find it works best if you warm it up on your fingers first and then apply it. I would really recommend this to anyone who wants to make their eyelids brighter.

At the moment Unineed are having a sale and this would normally cost £16.50 but its in the sale for £11.99, click here to have a look.

Have you ever tried benefit Lemon aid? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
